Walled Lake Northern Music Boosters is pleased to offer the Great Lakes Scrip experience. You are able to place your own orders on-line at your convenience by using www.shopwithscrip.com. 

You will need to register your family on the registration page which can be done by simply using your E-mail address and our Enrollment Code for Walled Lake Northern Music Boosters (see below). You will only need to register once, and then you will be able to log onto your personal account by using your E-mail and password. If you place your order on the website by 9 pm on Sunday you will be guaranteed to receive your order the following Thursday, provided there are no backorders from Great Lakes Scrip. Payment arrangements can be made by emailing wlnmusicboostersscrip@gmail.com.

Shopwithscrip.com is convenient, easy to use, and should eliminate any backorders normally experienced with special orders*. This could save you an extra trip up to school!

With every purchase of Scrip (gift cards), you earn revenue for Walled Lake Northern Music Boosters and Student Incentive credit for your child(ren). The incentive credit you earn can help pay for music trips, private music lessons, instrument repairs, solo/ensemble fees, or summer music camps. 

What Is Scrip? 

Scrip is a term that means “substitute money”. When you purchase scrip, you’re purchasing negotiable gift certificates and prepaid cards that are used just like cash. You can use scrip to purchase everyday expenses like food, clothing, and other essentials, and with every purchase, you earn revenue for our organization. 

How scrip generates revenue for you 

The Great Lakes Scrip Center acts on behalf of churches, schools and other nonprofit organizations to purchase large amounts of scrip from grocery stores, department stores, and other retailers. Because the scrip is purchased with cash up front, the participating retailers offer a substantial discount. WLN Music Boosters buys the scrip from Great Lakes Scrip Center at a discount, and re-sells the certificates to families like yours for full face value. The discount from two to fifteen percent or more – is our organization’s revenue. One half of this discount is retained by WLN Music Boosters, and the other half is placed in your student(s)’ individual incentive account. 

Scrip is "shopping cart fundraising” 

Scrip is a popular fundraiser because families don’t have to sell anything. Organization members produce revenue by making regular household purchases they would make anyway. Groceries, clothing, restaurant meals, movie tickets, home improvement materials, travel expenses, toys, gifts, even gasoline can be purchased with scrip. With PrestoPay and MANY of the companies offering e-cards, you can literally be standing in line (for a purchase you would be making anyway), pull up your ScripWallet app, purchase an ecard for your purchases, and within minutes it shows up in your ScripWallet and you can pay, be on your way and have saved money for your student!

You may still order the plastic gift cards. Orders that are in by Sunday at 5pm will be available for pick up on Wednesday of that week. Check or cash orders are still an option for payment, as well as, credit card now!  Keep in mind that using a credit card gives you a 2.46% fee will be added to your order so it may not be worth it on some purchases.   Due to the decline of plastic card orders, we will no longer be at the school on Thurs evenings.  Kimarie will email you to arrange for pick up at your earliest convenience.

Kroger Makes it Even Easier to Earn Money for the Music Boosters!
